Hamsun Apart Hotel Clifton

Average hotel in a tower block and a messy part of town. They agreed to pick me up from the airport for extra money but were late and they asked me to find their car in a carpark. Absolute shambles.

Extremely friendly Staff, even allowed me checking-in at 0600 in the morning. Also very good Digital Service via WhatsApp. Great location

Not very clean, speckles all over the linen/sheets. Very thin walls/Windows, no chance to sleep due to outside traffic even with oropax. Breakfast at best okayish

The staff is very nice but also very clueless.

We paid premium price to get an apartment which had holes in the roof. The first day it took them hours to get us into the apartment, then there was no water. The internet didnt work properly. We had to use buckets to wash and clean ourselves. There was nothing but dust outside the rooms and their key cards failed to work many times. Their manager offered us to check out if we want… where the hell were we supposed to go in the middle of a work day? They shifted us to their “better” location on our last night. Where the room was cleaner and we had water but the noise outside disturbed us many times.

Most times no warm water, and even after multiple requests couldn’t be fixed. Rooms were smelly.

The staff is super cooperative
