The location is very good and the staff is very helpful. They organized a whale watching tour for us.

Ideal location for beach, restaurants etc. clean and lots of red hot water which was nice! Room had A/C which I note some other reviewers say was lacking - think you have to book an A/C room, overall was happy enough given the price I paid.

Unlike many other places the host wasn’t really around much to help with enquiries etc.

Great location and owner family was lovely and even rented their own scooter to us :)

Basic Sri Lankan accomodation, there wasn’t proper AC (there was only fans :)) or breakfast so maybe it could have been cheaper!

The property is near to the beach, you just have to cross one busy road. It was spacious and the owners are really kind.

There were a lot of mosquitoes everywhere. In the garden in front of room, inside closets, a lot of them also flying around the room. This area has a lot of mosquitoes, but the number of mosquitoes in the accomodation was much higher than in other areas in the city. Pillows were quite dirty under the covers and bed was not really comfortable.

Location is great! It had an AC in my room, spacious balcony but really its like 5min to the beach to a lot of time was spent there. The owner and his family was nice, no hassle.

It wasn’t very clean. Towels, sheets, and furniture were stained.

Passable nothing great situated in a dingy corner of the lane. Ok for late checkin night sleep and bath. Staying is not recommended. The only advantage is it is close to the road and so many restaurants are easily accessible.

Super clean and spacious room + washroom, comfortable & large bed, little terrace in front of the room :)

Nothing really. Everything is really nearby, also the beach. Only about the surroundings: At night you can still hear some noises from the nearby busy street, but it’s not too noisy and with earplugs just fine :)
