Apartments Galerija Motovun

The apartment was located on a picturesque cobblestoned alley right in the heart of old town of Motovun. We could easily walk to restaurants and shops. Our room had a cute little terrace with a view of the rooftops and mountains in the distance. Unfortunately the weather was a bit cool and rainy off and on so we didn't get to use the terrace much. We didn't meet the host in person, but she was very responsive to emails and phone calls. After we received a parking ticket for parking in the proper area, the host immediately assured us that she would take care of it.

It is a significant hike to and from the car parking area. The less luggage the better! Overall the apartment was adequate. The kitchen had a large refrigerator and freezer, but could have been better stocked with dish ware (glasses in particular). The bathroom was a good size with good water pressure in the shower, but limited hot water in the mornings and the towels could have softer! The bed was comfortable enough but the linens had a strong odor of perfumed soap or dryer sheets which is challenging for folks with allergies to chemicals. Most of these issues could be easily remedied and would make a huge difference.

Renatta was a lovely, helpful, friendly host. The apartment was huge, with a great little balcony overlooking the hillside. Wonderful location. We absolutely loved it.
