"It was OK for a one night stay"

Room was clean. Great location

Breakfast was OK but ran out of brown bread. Service was slow and disorganised and let it down a bit

"Great place"

The Queens is a great location for exploring the Lake District, easy access via road or you can use the train services. The room was large and had a very comfy bed and great TV, the staff are friendly, breakfast was great and the food served in the pub was fantastic, they also have a lovely beer garden Top tip book a table for evening meals as the place gets busy

Great location from which to start the Coast to Coast walk. Friendly, helpful staff, great value, and good food.

Our room, and the hotel in general, was a little "frayed around the edges". That said, we slept very well, and it was great value for the money.
