Die Vermieterin hat sich während der Anreise mit uns per WhatsApp abgestimmt und direkt an der Wohnung auf uns gewartet. Die Wohnung war sauber, groß und hell, die zentrale Lage direkt südlich von Varenna ist ideal, um die Ostseite des Lago di Como zu erkunden, Der Ortskern vom Varenna ist ca. 1,6 km entfernt und kann in kurzer Zeit per Fuß erreicht werden. Achtung: Der Parkplatz ist nicht direkt am Haus, man muss einer schmalen Seitenstraße ca. 200 Meter bergan folgen - aber kein Problem für uns. Der Parkplatz ist groß genug für einen VW Caddy Maxi ;-) Kurzzeitiges be- und entladen ist vorm Haus möglich.

This property was perfect! Incredible location, Elisa was a wonderful host and provided excellent service and advice about the town.

The walk to Varenna is convenient but slightly treacherous! Be wary that there is a very small shoulder for walking. The WiFi was also very poor, but we had great service in town. We also had difficulty with the bus system due to the train closure.

L'appartement a une vue exceptionnelle sur le lac, est très bien aménagé. L'accueil a été très sympathique.. Varenne est un village magnifique. Il est très facile de prendre le ferry pour se rendre à Bellagio et autres villages

La situation de l'appartement nous a déçu. L'appartement a effectivement une vue exceptionnelle sur le lac ce qui est génial Par contre, l'appartement n'est pas situé à Varenne mais seulement à 30 minutes de Varenne à pieds, sans commerce aucun aux alentours, un seul restaurant. Difficile de prendre la voiture car aucune place dans Varenne Lors de notre réservation, il était précisé qu'un parking était prévu avec cet appartement avec une photo montrant un parking en face de l'appartement. Or surprise, ce parking n'est utilisable que pour un stationnement limité de 15 minutes. Le "parking"proposé était situé dans un terrain vague à 5 minutes de l'appartement. Ces éléments méritent d'être précisés plus clairement dans le descriptif de présentation.

It was clean and the host was so sweet and attentive. She showed us the room and pointed out all the facilities.

The power went out mid wash using the provided washing machine. We had to leave with a bag of wet clothes. My bad though anyway because there is no dryer. The parking was a bit of a hike and the road below was very noisy.

Host was very helpful and available. She arranged a taxi to meet us at the Varenna train station. The view of the lake and sunsets were beautiful. There is an excellent restaurant within walking distance called Hosteria del Platano.

The location is just amazing. You have full size windows in all three rooms with a great view of Lake Como. This is just 20-25 mins walk from Varenna and you also can board a train which is every one hour.

There was nothing to not like about this. Unless and until you are super critical, this will be totally worth it.
