After a very busy 10 days in the hustle of Lisbon and Porto, this country home was a welcome reprieve. We were lucky to have the entire place to ourselves for one night, and the sunny kitchen was glorious for making our own breakfast, eating in the dining room and chatting in the seating area during a rainy day. We could adjust the heat in our room which was great! The hosts were fabulous and we had a great visit and tour outside to see the beautiful stream, the bridge and the pool etc. Highly recommend if you need to get off the beaten path and relax.

We drove around for 15 minutes using our GPS to actually find the gate. The signage could be much improved to make this easier for tired travellers. But it was worth the effort!
