Hotel SB Residency

Breakfast was good. The staff were very cordial. They arranged for airport pickup and also a taxi to go to Wagah border. Very accommodative people. They also agreed for an early check in. Deeply grateful for that.

We were given rooms in the 3rd floor. And, there was no lift. That was very difficult.

The location is great and the staff have been very pleasant and helpful. It is only few minutes to walk to the golden temple. The receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. Nice comfy bed as well.

The first night was very noisy from the dog barking outside but the hotel offered another room which was quiet. I will prefer a more variety of breakfast.

Location to Golden Temple - safe and clean - staff very good and manager Kuldeep exceptional and speaking good English fluent Punjabi and Hindi - rooms comfortable for sleeping but not soundproofed - always hot water - western facilities - no lift - within 400 year old market and can lie in bed listening to kirten from Temple - everywhere easily reached either walking or by rickshaw/ tuktuk

It’s basic - roof terrace cleaned up would make lovely outdoor area not just for smokers - hairdryers to rent from reception would assist and bum guns in bathrooms although managed fine with bucket and jug

There was nothing to like.

Room was not clean and looked very old. Dust, bad mattresses, mosquitoes, there were leftover food pieces in the side table drawers,it was a bad decision to stay here. I have to suffer the situation since after travelling all the way with my senior citizen parents I had no option to look out for another hotel,else I would have never stayed here after I saw the room. A cab from the airport dropped us in the main market, Then battery auto was not allowed to entry in the lane and we have to walk. Such a terrible experience. My good and happy mood was completely spoiled after I reached the room. The hotel does not have lift, my dad being a cardic patient I couldn't move to upper floor. It was a complete mood spoiler. A very bad start on the first day of my trip. All I wanted was to move out of that place.
