Hostel ivory

hostel is quite and peaceful just 2 kms from the city centre. Amit the owner is very welcoming and made us feel at home…he himself made tea for me twice in the absence of staff…i would love to stay here again..

I had a wonderful time at the hostel…host was helpful and suggested some good places in jaipur to explore especially keeping in mind the hot weather of 40 degrees…

The property is nested away from the city but also a bit in the middle of nowhere

The host wasn’t very helpful. He mentioned that he was going to close the hostel and that he did not have any staff with him. But instead of trying to make us feel comfortable and make up for it, he made us feel uncomfortable. The kitchen was a mess and there were no Washing Machine as mentioned on the website. He also locked up the kitchen, although it was a no state to be used, so that we would not use it overnight. Wouldn’t recommend this stay.

Location is good and the owner Amit was friendly.

Mattresses were quite thin, so not the most comfortable night sleep. Not so hygienic bathroom with a bad smell and no soap / shampoo / toilet paper.

The hostel is excellent.its very peaceful and quite just the way I needed it. It's clean and tidy as well.the host Amit was super friendly and gave me the list of places that I can explore in jaipur. In all a great experience.

Nothing

The property is secure to a point where it almost looks like a mini fortress! If there are no monkeys outside then there is a large seating area which is good for breakfast. It's in a quiet area and there are some small shops within walking distance as well. M

Only a small hand towel is provided which is not sufficient to shower with and it smelt bad. At times there was a urine smell coming from the bathroom. The location is not really near any main sites although you can get tuktuks but you have to walk through a couple of very dirty alleys before the drivers can find you. There were a fair few rules about staying which the host was a bit over the top about in my opinion, although no doubt he's a nice guy, for example he offered tea which was a kind gesture.

It's a good location. Host was nice and considerate. Has a nice lawn to chill
