Alojamiento Rural Jardín Consentido

Excellent location up on a hill overlooking the town & surrounding area. To get to the property from Jardin town center, you have a few options if you don't have your own car: 1) 25-30 minute walk up the road and/or designated trails 2) about a 7 minute tuk tuk ride (15.000 COP) 3) you can take the Garrucha one way (6.000 COP per person) and walk about 7 minutes - this was our favorite, haha. The proprietors are lovely people & very welcoming. The breakfasts are made with great care and artfully arranged which is fun. Their garden is so peaceful, so many birds of all colors visit. The upper floor open lounge is a great area to relax.

What an absolutely amazing place to stay in Jardin. Our hosts were so helpful, accommodating and just simply wonderful human beings. So a joy to be in their presence. And they made us an amazing breakfast every day.

The breakfast was wonderful! Better then what is served in most restaurants and you're looking out over a lush flower and bird filled garden and countryside. Also the couple who own this are wonderful and so is their dog!

I didn't like that I ever had to leave!

The location was perfect- beautiful, quiet and close enough to town & trails to walk or tuk tuk. Lina & Camino were great hosts. Breakfast was always wonderful and Lina helped so much lining up a tour, ordering tuk tuks and recommending trails. The mattress was a little firm for my liking but would love to come back.

Mattress was a little firm for me but still slept well and nothing really to dislike.

Everything was given loving much care.

I could not recommend this Finca enough if you are looking for a few relaxing days in Jardin. It is situated a bit on the hillside but with this location you have a wonderful view over jardin and hiking opportunities starting at your door step. Lina is the lovliest host you could imagine and she can help you with everything you need. She showed us all the different hiking possibilities and view points but she could also arrange coffee tours, organized hikes or horse riding tours. We also loved relaxing in the hammocks and watching the beautiful birds eating the bananas in the Garden. The rooms have all you need, are clean and the bed is comfy. To get to town you could either walk 20 min, take a tuktuk for 15‘000COP or go with the cable car which is close by and very fast. There are a few smaller restaurants in 5 Min walking distance but they close at around 6pm . And for breakfast: you will get the best breakfast in the world prepared with so much love from Lina every morning!

Absolutely gorgeous property and Lina and Camilo are perfect hosts. Breakfast is wonderful and the walk into Jardin is a delight. If you come to Jardin you should definitely stay at Jardin Consentido

Nothing not to love about the finca

Sitting in the garden at anytime of the day and enjoying the birds flying around or eating from the birdfeeder is so peaceful whilst overlooking the valley The family who own the property are all so friendly and will try to help you with anything you want to do in the beautiful Jardin including transport and tours A traditional local breakfast was very tasty and a lovely hot chocolate to go with it!

We didn’t mind it but the property is a 30 minute walk uphill from town so if you have luggage we recommend a tuktuk to get you there and then you can walk back to town when needed

Amazing place with a view over Jardin. Truly a dream place for a few days. Quite easy to access by tuk tuk. Much better than being in the village. Room was spacious and nice, and water was warm.

The room did not get any sun due to the way the building is built. Sadly, it meant that there was a musty smell.

I felt like home. Being surrounded by the nature was an amazing experience.

I wish the towels were more comfortable and cleaner.
