I didn’t realize the kitchen wasn’t for guest use, though this was disclosed on the site (I overlooked it).

"Perfect location for 48 hours in Matera"

It’s a stunning location, near the Duomo, with amazing views from the terrace outside the property. It is in the heart of the historic centre but was very quiet at night The two double bedrooms were very spacious and comfortable, and the ground floor bedroom was en-suite. The kitchen is well equipped, with kettle and crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils

From the description, we were expecting 3 bedrooms. (2 doubles and a twin) In fact, there was a single bed in the ground floor bedroom and another folding single bed, in an area behind the kitchen/ dining room, near the house bathroom.
