The lawn was overgrown, making me question myself on renting this place when we arrived. Was told the lawn care person had been sick, they sent another lawn maintenance who just looked around but never cut the lawn. I would have given a 10 score if it wasnt for the lawn....

The Floorplan was spread out. Game room was a bonus. Exceptional design and cleanliness. Pool was outstanding. Tv's everywhere! Rooms were large and well equipped. No clocks. A/c good. Host responsive. Huge yard fenced. With only 1 escape area to fix. Dogs loved the place. Neighborhood felt safe. Enjoyable eve walks and pin drop quiet. Will come back to stay def! There were coffee condiments too! 3 of the 4 br beds were the same felt good. Sheets were soft nice choice. Walkin closet. but no support and low to the ground. Had beach chairs. We used! Pool had floaters! Many pluses! Bunnies in the back yard! Unfortunately I may think twice coming back bcuz of the beds. However we have back issues. Someone else may be ok. Loved there was a door to back yard from master BR. also shower outside.

Screened patios screen seals were broke. Mosquitos came in. Pool doesn't have a lania which makes it a must to have secure screened evening option. meaning no mosquitos in it. There were alot of mosquitos. Did not could not enjoy outdoors in the night bcuz of it. The yard is unkept leaving you a substandard feeling. The gate to the yard is not secure. We would reduce our review star bcuz of the yard. Need to get out there and clean it up. Trim bushes clean up storage areas. Fix outside gate. 😑 House was very secure but back yard was not. Cameras were everywhere in the back yard as well. Someone had come while we were away. Pool person? Pool had leaves then didn't. Whoever came left back gate wide open. Yet owner staded it did not show anyone had came on cameras. I felt kind of uncomfortable after that. No light in fridge. No ice even w machine on. No kitchen linen. Master shower never got cold? Took showers in other master bath. The bunk room where 4 ppl could sleep, all had very firm beds. Too firm to sleep. My husband and I came home with severe back pain and did not sleep at all both nights. 🙃 towels are old need updating. No teaspoons. Other than that great kitchen.

We never got to enjoy heated pool. It was not hot, the weather was cold

We didn't get into the rental until past midnight due to it not being cleaned & the cleaning lady still being there.  We Inquired about late checkout when we booked which would have been really nice especially after that experience & time we paid for which we weren't able to use but the host never replied to that request. We mopped all floors before we left as the cleaning lady missed that in her rush & there was some nasty areas on them that we didn't want to be attributed to us. We also swept everything & left it better than we found it. The lawn service came to mow while we were there but skipped the back yard altogether. As a lawn care professional myself,  the landscaping in the back yard, bushes around the fence & lawn itself was poorly upkept. The pool skimmer was shredded so we couldn't use it to clean off the dirt floating on the pool blown there by the wind overnight so weren't able to use the pool but half the time.  The number of security cameras in the back yard & focused on the pool made it feel like we were being watched all the time & made us wonder since the signs say swim at your own risk is the host watching his guests in their bikinis the whole time on camera or what is the purpose of all the cameras in the "private fenced back yard" for? We appreciate there was a security system but had anyone else been back in the yard it wouldn't have alerted us nor was there anything to view the security video at the property we rented if we had concerns.  It gave the feeling that the vacation rental owner distrusts their guests & was watching them the whole time, raising the question whether hidden cameras might be inside as well.  Definitely an invasion of privacy and made it impossible to relax & enjoy the property. We couldn't get the thermostat to work. Following the instructions did nothing at all.

Location, the house is located in a lovely development. Not far from beaches or stores. Fenced yard for my dog.

It was in a very quiet community the yard and house was very clean
