Pangong Delight Camps and Cottages

Good Staff , and very supportive throughout the stay ! They were really the best part of stay !

No WiFi , warm water and no connection with them before arriving , mention no not reachable !

Room size

I paid 7840 INR via Booking.com and the accommodation requested full payment before arriving, which I made the payment. My fellow traveler booked it upon arrival and only paid 1300 INR for the tent next to mine which is the same as mine. Note, that power supply is only between 7.00-10.00 pm. Also, note that hot water for shower was provided in buckets and no heaters in the room. The breakfast and Dinner was exceptional and staff were good.

Pretty much everything and the accommodation in the tent was not value for money especially when paying 7840 INR

Cottages is definitely a better option than a Tent. Cottage is insulated and no wind chill or fluttering sound of tent disturbs your sleep. Bummer is ice cold water in washroom. Once you come back from toilet it takes your body and blankets 20 mins to warm you back from icy temp. Cottages of Pinging delight Camps were not in front most row. so visibility of lake was hampered a bit. Food (Dinner and Breakfast) for a remote place like Pangong was above expectation. Note- Please eat cautiously at Tangtse on way to Pangong. Most of us got upset stomachs after eating lunch at Tangtse. Staff was also kind enough to arrange a Bonfire for us in front of our Cottages. Note: -They do it selectively for big groups (We had 4 cottages booked together).

Rooms which were earlier assigned had very very strong stench (of sewage). We insisted with the staff and finally they budged to change our cottages. New ones were good.

Warm cottages. Good homely food. Very near to Pangong lake.

Cleanliness needs to be improved, especially of the bathroom. Didn’t get adequate hot water. There isn’t any direct view of the lake from the cottages.

the location suggested water views . it was more like glimpse past other buildings that had been built in front of it. was looking at water tanks that were for the bathrooms of other accommodation

The cottage room was good and clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is also good.

The food need to improve, more options need to be added.
