Villa Maria Antonietta

We intended to use this house as a strategic point so we could use our car to visit both Pompeii to the north and Paestum to the south, while still being on the Amalfi Coast and enjoying the view. But Vietri sul Mare really surprised us with its quaint charm, great restaurants, and not SO many tourists! The apartments themselves were wonderful, and Antonella made sure we were all very comfortable. The views were amazing from the garden, and it was really peaceful.

Not having off-street parking was daunting, but we actually never had a problem being able to find a space on the street right in front of the house. And like everywhere on the Amalfi Coast, be well prepared for lots of stairs!

Antonella was a lovely host. Communicative and kind. The apartment was perfect for our needs. We stayed only one night, but would be happy to spend more time there and hope to return in the future. This apartment would be a perfect base for exploring the Amalfi coast by car.

Antoinetta and her husband are wonderful hosts. She received us with arms wide open and a big smile. The room is big and comfortable with a beautiful view.

It's, as could be expected, not new and there is a bit of a musty smell. The beds are very very soft, if that is an issue. And there are quite a few stairs. It's also a bit hard to find, though Google maps leads exactly to the front gate with a big "26" on it.

What I liked best was Antonella's customer service. She was very accommodating to make sure we had everything we needed and to facilitate our activities in Vietri sul Mare. We had a wedding nearby, and Antonella even gave us a ride to the venue, so we didn't have to deal with the parking. The rustic house was perfectly adjusted with all the amenities of a modern villa, and the views were breathtaking. We will be back for sure.

Antonella was amazing! She welcomed us into the apartment, showed us around, shared her secret, sneaky door and left restaurant recommendations and a contact number if we needed anything! Great location- easily drive up and down the Amalfi coast and had a great home base to come back to every night! Very warm and welcoming- we would love to stay here again!!
