Прежде всего отношение персонала и абсолютная чистота, которую можно найти не везде. Ребята находятся на европейском уровне и знают свое дело. Все продумано до мелочей (кондиционер, вентилятор, фен, утюг, переходник, а также выключатели света прямо под рукой у кровати). Номера как на картинке!Нам очень понравились завтраки, владелец учитывал пожелания гостей. Также у владельца есть очень интересная галерея, в которой можно найти много всего (уехали с картиной). Вообще всем советуем именно этот отель!

Wat een fantastisch verblijf hebben wij hier gehad. De kamers zien er heel mooi uit met kunst aam de muur van de broer van de host. Er zijn vier kamers en ze zijn allemaal even comfortabel en mooi. De bedden liggen heerlijk. Wij hadden met ons gezin van 5 drie kamers geboekt. In minder dan 5 minuten lopen ben je op het strand. Een hele bijzondere plek . Echt een aanrader.

A Secluded Jungle Retreat with Soul and Atmosphere I stayed at Saffron Robes Living in Hikkaduwa and was absolutely delighted. The hotel is located away from the main beach, surrounded by lush jungle, which creates a unique sense of seclusion and connection with nature. In the mornings and evenings, you hear birds and forest sounds — it truly feels like you’re in a tropical retreat. The hotel is small and intimate, with only four rooms, designed in a stylish loft aesthetic — concrete walls, wooden elements, and stone floors. My room was decorated in all white, overlooking the garden. The bathroom featured a tropical rain shower partially open to the outside — a beautiful experience! I especially enjoyed the lounge area on the ground floor with comfortable sofas and a fish pond, as well as the cozy meditation zone with floor cushions and a view of the jungle. There’s no TV in the room, which is actually a plus — it allows you to disconnect and enjoy being alone with your thoughts. The staff were exceptionally kind and helpful — always available, but never intrusive. Breakfast was great, with a choice between Sri Lankan and European styles — I tried both and they were delicious. I would love to come back. This place is a true hidden gem. Although officially a 2-star hotel, it feels more like a 5-star retreat.

Can’t complain

Thanks a lot to the hotel owner. He did everything to make our stay comfortable. He answered any questions. He is a very cheerful and pleasant person. The hotel itself is small, but this is its advantage. The rooms are clean, well maintained and designer. The cleaning was done every two days, and the breakfasts were delicious. There are always water bottles, a safe, and a refrigerator in the room.

Quirky concept hotel with only four rooms, located a stone throw from the busy part of Hikkaduwa without any of the noise. Lots of interesting art, and excellent breakfast (wildly good fish curry). Fairly priced.

It’s more a concept art project than a hotel. The room is nice and bright, but way too bright in the morning, since it’s impossible to block out sunlight. The bathroom is for all extents and purposes outdoors, which is fine, except that it takes forever for the door to close, which makes cooling the room more inefficient and the door itself cannot be locked. The carpet is also dangerous because it glides. Being basically a massive slab of concrete, WiFi is useless.
