The room was OK for the price. The host was very nice and helps us with the meal delivery and our trip to Irazu the next day.

The owners were very helpful concerning directions and communication with locals to organise trips. Freshly cooked Coffee was offered every evening. You could use the fridge. Free toiletries to use as well.

It's not completely critical, but rather to describe the actual living situation: You live with the family of the house. Next to your bathroom is sleeping another person, which you can hear, when the little window is open. The room with the beds is next to the living room. So there is no connection to fresh air, which makes it difficult to get fresh air in the room. The beds make sounds, when you move, which can be a problem for light sleepers. A dog and a cat live with the family, but not in the flat. You can still smell them though. The included breakfast is orange juice, cornflakes and milk.
