Stella Rooms

The host Stella was great. She gave us watermelon and cherries when we got there and coffee every morning which was a nice touch. The bed was comfortable and water was hot.

Was a bit to small for us as we like to cook and kitchen was very small and lacked some essentials.

we loved the hospitality of Stella and her son. They welcomed us super nice. The location and the room were very good, and we enjoyed it a lot

A short walk and you were right in the village , close to cafes ,the beaches /swimming spots and local tavernas . The room was comfortable and had everything you need for a few nights or a week .Stella is a lovely Greek woman who brings not only coffee but all kinds of treats while you’re there .

Stella was so sweet and welcoming. When we arrived, there was watermelon, cheese, ham and bread in the fridge. She also prepared home-made breakfast and tea for us. She lent us beach umbrellas and one snorkel/mask. The apartments were clean and in a very good location, at walking distance from the shops and the beach. Amazing experience.

Unfortunately we could not keep our reservation as we had a life emergency and had to fly immediately back to the U.S. as my mother was critical and wasn't going to make it after a sudden stroke. I'm disappointed because this is a serious life event and absolutely no courtesy for a partial refund was given. Even one day would have been a nice gesture (as we had booked two nights). Instead they took the money for both nights. It's a disappointment. It wasn't like we just changed our minds. My mother passed away shortly after I arrived on a grueling flight that same day.

I loved staying here. The it that you don’t get at the more transactional places. Like being welcomed into community straight away.

I did end up having to work a bit and did so on the bed or the table outside unless it was too hot. Didn’t mind just fyi

The full Greek grandma experience! Inspirational people the mother and her son! If you’re looking for peace, quiet, simple and nurturing, this is the place. Perfect for solo travellers or couples. Fully equipped kitchen in a quiet location, close to everything.

What a gem! Stella Rooms is a 2 minute walk from town, you have views, all you hear is birds. The room I had came with a kitchenette, and Stella supplied me with coffee, pastries, eggs, oranges, bread, cheese and ham. It was a pleasure spending 5 nights in Kardamyli ( initially 2 nights, but I extended my stay), and I look forward to returning.
