Awakenings Inn

Nothing. We didn't stay.

As soon as we walked in, there seemed to be a lingering cigarette smoke smell. Going up the stairs we noted they had not been cleaned and we encountered a strangel smell when we entered our smallish room. We left the premises, staying at another Inn, forfeiting our nights cost.

Friendly host. Nice room. Walking distance to the brewery.

Small, cramped room, creaky bed, window treatment too thin to keep out signal lights from flashing all night, street noise until very late and curb appeal in serious need of cleaning up.

Good location. Host was attentive. Cute place!

Centrally located, very charming house, room was clean, hostess was friendly and accommodating.

Before entering the room, I noticed a faint smell of cigarette smoke. Unfortunately, the room was not very soundproof, as we could hear a man continuously mumbling and repeatedly swearing before going to sleep. This was a bit off-putting.

The location was good.

The smell of the animals (musky), that lived in the house. The poor condition of the stairs going into the second floor on outside of house. Poor maintenance of the house (handrails, rugs)
