Studio Central Exer IV

Location is excellent. Locate on Victoria street, full of terraces, coffee shops and shops. The property it's also closed to University Square - max 5 min walk with access to underground, close to Old Town - 10 min walk full of restaurants and pubs. The studio it's equipped with everything you need to feel home. It has fridge, washing machine, cooking facilities and it was very clean.

The studio was facing Victoriei street that it's one of the main street in Bucharest. It was a bit noisy on weekday. It was better during weekend as the street become pedestrian only. Some of the facilities were a bit tired and need replaced: the outdoor blind it's very old and got stacked half way, the curtain rail was broken and the curtain will come out midway and also the TV remote switch ON/OFF didn't work. You can change the channels, volume, etc, but you need to get out of the bed and unplug the TV to switch it off. Also - the kettle needs to be replaced as well.. The shower needs a sliding door to avoid water flooding the bathroom. However, I had a wonderful stay and I will be happy to book it again. The studio flat it's excellent and those small issues will not impact your time in Bucharest.

The room was perfect for one person or a couple on a break to Bucharest. I went with friends who stayed nearby and I was wary walking alone at night at first but it is very central and safe if you go to the apartment by the Bank entrance. It's a 5minute walk to all the restuarants and pubs in Old Town and the bus/metro is 3 minutes. The balcony and the view outside was fabulous!

The apartment had no duvet and I was cold one night so had my clothes piled on me over the sheet. This was not my chosen apartment as mine had flooded so I didn't know in advance what to expect. But it's just off Victory Street which is the main street and so was very central but coming from the Universitate side the road is very dark. The bathroom was adequate but not the cleanest.

1) The bed is so uncomfortable that i barely slept on it, the mattress is like an iron sheet (so hard) 2) the toilet flush isn’t working properly and there is a letter sticked which says “do not throw toilet paper inside the toilet” so where else am I supposed to dispose it ?? Apparently its a well known issue that wasn’t fixed by the owner 2) the shower is literally a corner of the bathroom where u can not move, so tiny is it!!!
