Jazlyn Lodge

Our host Marvin went above and beyond to make our stay feel great. We booked with him couple of tours and he was always reachable. Marvin gave us some good tips and he was always very informative and helpful. During the day he always contacted us and asked do we need something or just to check did we have a good time on our tours. He also gave us access to the washing machine that was not included in our accommodation deal. Accommodation it self is near the main road but a little bit secluded (50m inside) which makes it perfect for a quite evening (sometimes you can hear a truck passing buy but mostly it is very quite) Pros: - Parking is inside the fence of the property - Beds are cozy - Place is clean - Place has a nice terrace to relax - If you have a car you can easily drive along a cost and visit some national parks and beaches - A lot of light in the apartment

The Lodge was charming, a bit off the roads so not that much traffic - giving a smart jungle feeling. Everything was clean and was equipped with all we need! Beaches and other city’s we could get to easily and fast! Our host Marilyn was super friendly and helped us with every questions we had. The communication was super easy via WhatsApp! We had a very great first experience with her in Costa Rica! We totally recommend the „Jazlyn Loge“ - thanks for everything!

Marilyn was a super welcoming host, the apartments are both well equipped, the upstairs terrace was a beautiful place to relax in the evening. The apartments were both super clean.

Unfortunately there are still some parts of the lodge that are not finished: there was no AC on the top floor, only in the downstairs apartment. There was a door missing in the bathroom so not the best for privacy when staying with friends. There was also no hot water in the shower (which we got used to and became a refreshing moment eventually...)

Everything was perfect in this accomodation. From the host to the place and the location.

It might be worthy to out a sign in the main road, as you need to turn to a little alleyway from it and I struggle to find it.

The facilities are large, clean and comfortable. The breakfast served in the room was most welcome and the service was good. Communication was very prompt; we left a passport in the room when we left and the staff was very responsive and helpful in arranging for us to get it back.

The place is very well equipped and comfortable, even including a washing machine. Finding the place is a bit tricky, so definitely make sure to be in the lookout for the wood fence at the end of what can be seen in the street. They allowed us to do a later checkout, to be able to take a shower after our visit to Curu, which was very nice and appreciated. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay near Curu.

The shower didn't include a heater, but fortunately we didn't really felt the need for it. Also there's no AC, but the fans did the work.
