Karauci Homestay

Wat het meest beviel was de vriendelijkheid en de gastvrijheid van de familie. Het voelde alsof ik deel uitmaakte van het gezin. Verder is er een healingcentrum, waarvan zij mede-eigenaar zijn. Ik werd vrijblijvend en zonder winst oogmerk uitgenodigd om enkele sessies mee te maken, wat ik als zeer bijzonder heb ervaren. Wat ook mooi is aan het verblijf is, dat het mooi uitzicht geeft over een rijstvelden. Ik kom er nog een keer terug in de toekomst. Een aanrader.

Ik kan niets negatiefs bedenken.

Great location that was close to a start point for our running club near Monkey Forest, Sangeh. Also had a paved walkway down to the jungle and river that was incredible! Also close to Monkey Bridge, water temples and waterfalls! The ravine at monkey bridge is nuts beautiful and great warang right there with incredible views!!

The family running the homestay are the kindest most hospitable hosts. The room was spacious, aesthetically pleasing and very comfortable. The entirety of the property was well maintained and beautiful, the surrounding property as well.

Only thing it needs is a little fridge in the room and kettle But have a share facility But I don’t use it

The owner were very kind and helpfull She's also fast response. Location are perfect, in quiet area Cozy place to stay. Highly recommended, if you look for a quiet place to stay in Ubud.

Private as it’s a separate building. Hosts were amazing and breakfast was lovely every morning. Was a lovely place with all I needed. Great value for money I loved my stay!

Location was good for me as I had friends nearby but not that close to anywhere. Mostly very clean but a little bit of dirt in a corner.

The personal was extremely nice

++ The place is amazing, hosted by a lovely family, the nicest persons you have ever met. They helped us with scooter rent, itinerary, where to eat, suggestions about activities and we had lovely conversations during our stay ! The room is in a little studio out of the house so you really have your own privacy and also they provided everyday clean service and free breakfast (eggs with toast, coffee and fruits). The room is clean and huge! The village is totally authentic, be aware that there are just some warungs and no shops around and you definitely need a scooter, but being there was great and people in the street are so nice, all the time taking pictures of us and have little chat in english as they don’t use to see tourists much in the area ! Welcome in the real Bali and we loved that feeling ! I really really recommend this place for the experience, if you are looking for « real Bali life », quiet place and lovely nature environnement!

Be aware that the location is far from the tourist is attractions! We didn’t realize that the place was a bit too far from Ubud if you plan to do a trip there, and because of the road and traffic, you have to take into account that Ubud is around 30/35 min by scooter from the place and all famous temples or rice terasses are about one hour. This is the only negative point we noticed, and we used to drive a lot scooters so was not a problem for us :)
