Amazing Ansons Bay Absolute Waterfront Beach House

The property was immaculate - so clean and organised and it the kitchen was very well equipped. The Kayaks and bikes were a hit with the teenagers. Beds were very comfortable.

This was my favourite stay in Tas. Beautiful house and view. Everything you need. Loved the kayak on the bay. Would love to come back again. Amazing it is.

There is nothingi I did not like.

We arrived in the dark and checked in easily into the fabulous house. At this point I could hear the waves lapping the shore. Next morning, when I opened the curtains, was a complete 'WOW!' moment. Brilliant location - absolute waterfront and quiet. Fabulous facilities and the best equipped self-contained accommodation I have ever come across - kitchen, household, kayaks and bikes available.

All roads into Ansons Bay are unsealed. I didn't mind, as these roads are quite good and add to the desired charm and remoteness of the location. But just something to be aware of.

Stunning views

There was no communication re rubbish or garbage & no external bins for collection. No idea what the best practise for leaving the bedding and towels was. We hoped that you found the house clean and tidy.

Kitchen is very well stocked. Plenty of cookware and helpful items such as salt/pepper/herbs etc to make meals as it was very far away from any facilities.

Very remote, more than I realised. Internet was very patchy. Upon arrival I tried to open my inbox to read the instructions for getting the keys and had no service. We had to get back in the car and drive until we could get some reception.

The view from the home is great. The location is very isolated but near some absolutely breathtaking beaches. The roads are mostly dirt so be prepared for this.

Had an issue with access to the kayaks as the door to the shed was stuck. It would have been great if we had been able to use them as the lake is very calm in the mornings.

Everything! Absolutely loved our stay here.

Nous étions ravis de séjourner dans cette maison tout confort avec une vue magnifique. Petit coin de paradis où le temps s'est arrêté ☺️ Belle balade en canoë mais aussi à vélo.
