Fancy and elegant feeling at a great price!

The beds were ok.

We stayed there, while directly in front of our room construction works took place, so outside the room it was loud and dusty. Inside the room it also was not very comfortable, because the room was very dark. From seeing the pictures we expected more.

Very friendly place , lovely and clean , helpful staff ,good advice about restaurants, the quickest way to the beach , tuk tuks etc, nice rooms with en suite shower , toilet and washbasin , done to a good standard , comfortable and clean furnishings ,the staff will always change your towel / provide extra toilet paper etc upon request . A lovely central garden courtyard with hammocks around it , an outside area to each of the downstairs rooms with a tiled floor , 2 chairs and a table , plus i was supplied a kettle for tea and coffee ,which i was very pleased with . I hope to go back there next season . Only 5 to 10 minutes walk to the beach, my room had a ceiling fan which kept me nice and cool ,a chair, plenty of electrical sockets a handy low shelf for the kettle etc ,plus a shelf / clothes hanging rail .

enjoyed my stay: comfortable room, nice and clean. very friendly staff. very common for Sri Lanka but just to mention for information: no hot water (but you get used to it very quickly), no wardrobe / rails for clothes, just one shelf available. a little bit away from main street, about 5 min walk

The property was a bit outside of Arugam bay Main Street and on a busy road The staff tried to rip us off on two occasions when we asked for a tuk tuk. He asked for 1000 LKR to Arugam bay Main Street when other tuk tuk drivers had previously only asked for 300. They also asked for almost double the normal price to peanut farm. We obviously didn’t agree. The hotel offered no breakfast or dinner at an extra charge which we thought unusual.

Very clean rooms. The location is great. Walking distance for Arugum Bay locations. Has parking space too at no extra charge. Price is great too. Affordable.

The carpet outside the bathroom doesn't seem to absorb water at all. Gets the room a little too wet. Overall nothing bad to say.

it’s just far enough away from the Main Street to be quiet, but close enough so that you’re not too far away. the guys who work at Royal point are super helpful and a bunch of legends
