Auberge Doucet Inn

Location relative to Cape Breton NP was good. Options seem limited. Room was clean but small and very basic.

There are limited options in the area. Cost was expensive relative to room size and amenities. The continental breakfast was weak.

L’emplacement au calme un peu en retrait de la ville. Très confortable, très propre. Grande chambre avec café, frigo et petits chocolat! Petit déjeuner très correct.

La salle à manger trop étroite avec une seule table devrait être repensée. On se bouscule un peu !

It has a lovely setting to watch the sunset on good nights. It is a good base for the west side of the Cabot Trail.

The breakfast room was a bit tight in the morning.

The inn is very attractive from the outside. We were upgraded to a big room with a king-size bed. We had a nice view towards the water. We had to seek help with the heating controls. The parking was very convenient. The lady was welcoming. There was chocolate in the room.

The heating and air conditioner rattled so it was hard to know what to do at night. Breakfast was all in packets except for bananas. It seemed overpriced compared with other places.

Loved the location. It was quiet and had great views. Easy parking. We also liked the morning Nespresso coffee, breakfast items, the fridge in our room and abundance of water and juices for our daily needs.

The room was large, well furnished and extremely clean. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable.

Nice location. Set way back from the road. Panoramic views.

Expected more choice at breakfast considering the price. Room was smaller sthan expected.

The view was beautiful. We really enjoyed breakfast and conversing with the other guests.

Room was spacious and clean. Hotel has great position/view. Staff friendly and welcoming.

The weather was cold during our stay. There was no additional blankets/quilts in the room. This would have made the room much more comfortable
