My host - Anushka was a powerhouse! She was the most prompt and helpful person we encountered on the entire trip.

Quiet, spacious, nice pool

Grass and gravel round the pool and pool shower. Can’t walk to the pool without slippers and some stones in the pool. More paving stones!

The location was ideal. Away form the busy main road yet really accessible set in a quiet residential area. Easy gated acess that was extremely secure and private.

Nothing.

Perfection. There is everything you need, fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, wash machine, carpark, private swimming pool and outdoor area. The owner is lovely and very helpful. Close to shops, restaurants, and 10 mins drive from the most famous beach in Mauritius. I cannot recommend it enough.

Great host, very friendly and helpful. House exceeded our expectations. Quite and laid back area of the island with short distances to fantastic beaches and other things to do.

If you are looking for a perfect holiday in La Gaulette, I highly recommend booking here! The villa is very spacious: nice living room with a fully equipped kitchen and a large dining table. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom, air conditioning and very comfortable king size beds. A large terrace which is ideal for taking your meals outside. Comfortable sun loungers by the pool and even an outdoor shower. The Le Morne region has a lot to offer: nearby you will find beautiful beaches (Le Morne beach is only 1 km away), the National Park and the Le Morne hiking trail. But what made the whole experience perfect was Anoushka, our lovely host. Not only is she very welcoming (large bowl of fruit in the kitchen upon arrival), she is easy to reach by phone and was of great help when we had a medical emergency. She immediately drove to us and showed us the way to the nearest medical clinic. She helped us with registration and speaking to the doctor and even accompanied us to the pharmacy. Her quick response and help made all the difference! And finally, the friendly cleaning lady, Cindy, made sure everything was spotless every day. Compliments all around! We would definitely come again!

Anouchka is a warm, accommodating and communicative host and our stay at Rue des Frangipanes could not have been more pleasant. The villa is in a lovely neighborhood, the unit was spotless and well appointed, and the pool and beautiful grounds were an added bonus.
