The 5th room isn’t really a room but a landing with bunk beds which are only suitable for younger children

VIlla Sara is about a 15/20 minute walk from sidi Kaouki beach in a quiet hamlet. The room was very spacious and cool with a huge double bed and a single bed. The pool is gorgeous and the breakfast is very good but the best thing about Villla Sarah is the host Fatima who is just lovely and made my mother and me feel super welcome and took amazing care of us (my mother had had a accident and was very fragile and vulnerable).

It's a very nice and comfortable house with great views. But the most important aspect that made my stay there very special is Fatima's family who welcomed me with such warmth and incredible hospitality, and Myriam's (not sure I got her name right?), meals were wonderful and really tasty. My many thanks to Fatima and Michel for picking me up in Essaouira, as well as to the beautiful and delightful Youssra for her company and patience with helping me on my road to learning Arabic, I hope she has enjoyed our time together as much as I have, to her uncle, Mohammed for entrusting me with his horse Texas (;), to her dad, brothers, and all. I feel very privileged to have shared that time with you all. Add to this, a spectacular infinity pool deep enough to swim but not too deep to drown (perfect for me), room with great views and the spaces, both private and shared are really comfortable and make you feel at home very quickly.

Not exactly not like, but it was a challenge to get to the local bus stop in the village with all my luggage at about 2.6 km, a 20-minute walk, on a stony road. Nothing this family couldn't handle though and I travelled with my luggage in proper Moroccan style to the bus stop, on the backseat of a motorbike ;) No difficulties if you get there by car, just take the easier but longer way around to the house.

Everything – a modern and clean villa, cute dogs, delicious breakfast. But first and foremost, the hosts – they were incredibly kind and helpful (even though there was a bit of a language barrier between us), borrowing us a quad, driving us back to Essaouira, etc.

A bit far from the beach but that wasn’t a problem as the hosts kindly borrowed a quad bike to us.
