It was an older house that needs some work.

Harold is really cool, and kind. Room is cozy and comfortable!

It was in a quiet neighborhood, the room was spacious, and the bed was okay for comfort

The room and bathroom were filthy! The bathroom was from the 70's and didn't look like it had ever been maintained or repaired since. The shower was disgusting and clearly had not been cleaned for months! The outside of the house was filthy with clutter all around (with an old vacuum in the bushes), including two old junk cars in the carport where Harold had me park my motorcycle. The outer sliding glass door where you enter the house was broken and didn't lock, so there was NO SECURITY! Also, it didn't open easily and if you open it too far, it sticks. There's an old junk desk outside the door to welcome you to this dumpy abode. I was exhausted when I arrived at 9:45pm. Harold showed me to the room, then told me he needed me to be out by 10am the next morning (which was NOT stated in the listing!). Harold asked if that would work for me. I told him, No, that was too early, as I was tired and didn't have plans until the afternoon, so I had hoped for a later checkout than 10am. Harold didn't budge on the time; he just started telling me all of the many places in the area that I should go visit and sightsee when I left in the morning. I kept yawning and yawning, and Harold kept talking and talking! Finally, Harold left so I could go to bed. I'm shocked to see so many high ratings for this place. I can't believe they are all valid. I travel a LOT and I only stay at places with viewer ratings of 8+. I'll be generous and say this place "might" fit into the viewer ratings category of 5+. I would never stay here again under any circumstances!
