The place is very green and well wooded, deeply connected to nature. The staff is attentive and kind. Comfortable bed. There is a Igarapé on the property. Pool bar with good drinks.

Despite the staff being very kind, we felt there was a lack of proper training so that information would be more consistent. For example, we were told there was a shuttle bus from the guesthouse to the town center; later they said this bus no longer existed and then offered us a car instead. However, they couldn’t give clear details about when we could request the car or which places were included — for instance, Pindobal Beach was not included, even though it is only a 15-minute drive. Because of this communication failure, we almost had to pay 180 reais to a taxi driver. They need clearer rules and better explanations regarding the ride service, and due to all the misinformation, the situation was quite stressful. If it were today, I would choose a guesthouse closer to the town center. Breakfast — the breakfast was good, but I felt there was a lack of variety. In addition, there were people from an NGO staying at the guesthouse, and we were told that a simpler breakfast would be served because of this, but that we could request tapioca if we wanted. However, we needed to leave early for tours, so we felt that our breakfast experience was negatively affected on some days. To illustrate the lack of information, after our stay they called my fiancé to charge 75 reais that we did not spend, and they themselves could not explain what the charge was for — very chaotic. We also felt that some chalets are better than others. During the first days, we stayed in the Tucano Chalet, where the bathroom window was very small. Later, we were transferred to another one in the Macaco Chalet — because the TV was not working — and it had a much better overall structure.

Staff was incredibly helpful and polite. The new swimming pool area is incredible. The hotel helped us with day trips and transfers to the beach.

Great value for money. Staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. The place has everything one needs: a good resturant, a bar by the pool, and a charming igarapé.
