Casa Lac de Verde

E foarte frumoasa zona, e chiar langa Dunare, zona verde si linistita, perfect pentru plimbari de seara si mers cu barca Gazda superba, am primit ospitalitate si intelegere (avand in vedere ca noi, din pacate, nu mancam peste, am avut acces sa ne fierbem niste cartofi si sa prajim cas pane sau sa ne facem niste paste) Camerele sunt curate, linistite, pat, frigider, prize, balcon comun. Terasa cu acces in gradina si pe acolo se iese si spre Dunare, e superb. Multe animale <3

Ne-a placut tot: camera foarte confortabila cu o priveliste minunata. Liniste, gazde primitoare si mancarea foarte bună. Mulțumim!

Un loc de vis! Nu as fi crezut ca in Delta, exista asemenea loc frumos, la un pret extraordinar de mic! Curatenie ireprosabila, camera spatioasa prevazuta cu toate dotarile, peisaj superb, intr-un singur cuvant: MINUNAT!

Big garden, wonderful view of the Danube and very peaceful. The owners Flori and Stefan, which also live at this place in a different building, are very kind and welcoming and make the most delicious traditional food (you can just discuss with them if you want to eat something / at what time / etc). They can also help you out with boat trips and activities. We had a lovely time here, thank you so much again!

Lovely location, exceptional hosts. I visited Danube Delta over 20 times in the last 30 years. Casa Lac de Verde was a very nice surprise for us. It's as close as you can hope these days to experience directly the warmth of Romanian hospitality. Location has an excellent panorama above the Danube and a cozy garden to enjoy it over a glass (or two) of wine -courtesy of the host! Then you can enjoy a mouthwatering fish dinner freshly prepared by our host with local fish and garden vegetables. If only for this and it's worth coming back. Plus the countless stories over a cherry palinka (yes they have it!) On premise you also have the chickens. And the ducks. And their tasty eggs in the morning. Yammy! I have a hard time deciding what I enjoyed the most: dinner or breakfast. Please try both. You'll thank me later... Worth mentioning - very important for us! - the location is pet friendly. Our daschund enjoyed at least as much our stay!

I regret that we stayed only a weekend. And what I saw on my scale when I weighted at home ;-)

It’s a really nice house with a beautiful view over the Danube. The bedrooms are confortable and the hosts are lovely. The meal that you can have there is really tasty with local products. We appreciated the fact that we didn’t have to take the car again for the boat excursion or to find a restaurant.

The dinner was very good and the sight seeing perfect. Very good choice for two-three days trip in Danube Delta.
