Lângă Stână

The property was on a sheep farm and surrounded by fields and forest. The staff could not have been more helpful and friendly.

There were scary guard dogs at the military property in the forest.

The location was superb as it was surrounded by a forest and there were areas to sit outside and grab a drink.

The bed was not comfortable and the room was located right next to the dining room, so we hardly had privacy.

Very nice terrace, nice environment, good natural food, nice details in the room/bathroom. It was clean and the people there take really care of the property. The homemade wine was really good.

Our room was really very small, for a 3 night stay not comfortable. For 1 night it would have been ok.

The place is very beaufitul, everything was perfect.

We loved our stay at Lângă Stână! The building is a former sheep barn, and the rooms were previously occupied by shepherds. It is decorated in traditional Romanian style, showcasing Romanian outfits native to the region. The sheep farm was moved nearby and can be visited. We were warmly greeted by Laura, Petra & Andrei. They were very kind and accommodating. They made us a fantastic dinner, deemed by the kids as the best dinner we had in Romania. The location is idyllic, away from the hustle and bustle of a city, but just a few minutes drive away from the city center and Curtea de Argeș Monastery. The rooms were clean and cozy, also traditionally decorated. They each had their own bathrooms. Would love to come back and stay at least a couple of nights. This is a great place to relax and unwind. They also host events, such as weddings. Fantastic stay!

This is such a cute , real authentic place to stay. The décor and feel is very old traditional Romanian . The staff working there just went over and above to make it memorable and the food was proper home cooked in their kitchen by the family. The have a pond outside and free parking, its really tranquil and such a gem of a spot !

There is no AC/fan so it is a bit warm (depending on the weather). We had all our meals and drinks at the restaurant and they only accept cash or bank transfer so just note that when staying over (no card machine). There is not a lot to do around the place , so no walks into town or much other around it than other houses - however that attributes towards the "feel" of the place so we enjoyed it. They have water/ food etc all there with a lovely patio
