Hotel Rancho Escondito

Stunning piece of property built by an Italian family long ago.

This is a fairly new hotel, and as such you can expect warmth and a great conversation from the owners. It is super close to the beach and a plethora of stores. Room is nice and big enough, and as expected from Puerto Escondido it is hot both indoors and outdoors. Once you turn the fan inside the room you should be fine. Outside the rooms they have a really beautiful patio and places to sit with a very nice garden, rooms upstairs have view to the pacific ocean. In general it's a very chill place, wish I could stay longer. I will definitely come back when visiting Puerto Escondido.

I liked everything - There is nothing I didn't like. Just as a note for people coming with car: On the evenings there is a street market 50m from the hotel, so the street (Av. Alfonso Perez Gasga) is closed to cars briefly for the evening. Be aware that if traveling by car it's best to leave your car in the back entrance of the hotel. Just ask the hotel staff.
