"Good price / quality and very family friendly hotel"

6.0

The hotel is recently renovated with good taste. The stuff is very helpful and kind. I had HB. The breakfast is very good, minus: no vegetables. The dinner was good and it was different every evening. You have to choose from a 3 aperitifs and 3 main dishes a day before. The SPA is across the street (medium indoor pool 26-28 C and 2 saunas dry 90-98C and turkish steam 50-60C) open from 15:30. The spa is new and it was important for our decision. Is a very family friendly hotel. Instead the village is not attractive at all and you will need a car in order to find the nearest attractions (Cavalesse).

"Poor"

4.0

There is plenty of things we didn't like: - they promote themsleves to have a swimming pool and wellness area, however this is in another building ! So once we were back from full day of skiing, we had to dress properly, go out into the freezing outdoor, go swim, dress back and walk to the main hotel with our room. - the pool requires a bathing cap ! I have visited many hotels worldwide (not only Europe-wide) and this is the first one to require caps ... - there is only hot water and milk served for breakfast, otherwise just cold food. No scrambled-eggs, no sausages, no fried or boiled eggs (there were hard-bolied eggs, but already cold). - they have a problem with keeping proper heating. At our room it was too warm one night and too cold the next one, our neighbouring friends were just cold. - W-fi access is via a weird one-password-per-device policy. Which requires the family to request 3-4 passwords, instead of just one general one.

"Great service, really helpful - absolutely fantastic food"

10.0

We have stayed at this hotel 4 times over the last 8 years. We first came as a couple on our first snowboarding holiday together and last month we came again with our 2year old. It is situated In a very picturesque ( and quiet) village and is three minutes by car from the nearest ski lift. The whole ski area is very close and really suits beginners and intermediate levels. The are a couple of excellent board parks as well if you have the skills. If you fancy a day away from skiing there are some really nice river walks on the outskirts of the village . On our first trip the actual hotel had really good facilities but they have made it even nicer with gradual improvements over the years. The pool and sauna area are really nice and are excellent for relaxing after a hard day on the mountain . We have stayed in a lot of Italian resorts and to be fair the food always seems to be good, however the food here is of a different standard... It's really really good. There is always a 3 course meal with a lot of choice. My partner is a vegetarian and the always cooked something special for her that was really imaginative and tasty ... The staff were always polite, friendly and attentive and we were always made to feel welcome. English was spoken fluently and all of our questions or requests were dealt with in a very helpful fashion and always with a great attitude. I totally recommend it and found it easy to be there with a toddler since the village playground was close, walks we're easy and they have a decent sized playroom.
