Fairways Drakensberg Resort

We booked 2x villas, and requested close proximity, unfortunately this did not happen

The views and very helpful and friendly team who were amazing during an emergency we had and assisted with getting an ambulance to us fast.

Decor in bedrooms and bedding was tired. Definitely needs a revamp as the pillow inners had the date 2019 written on them and were very discoloured along with the duvet cover and pillow cases. Main bedroom curtains had holes in the back so when sun can up you could see the holes through the front from the sunlight. Lighting in the lounge was very harsh. Suggestion to use yellow light bulbs for a warmer effect.

Unfriendnes of the house keeper lady for our room. Table was not even set not welcoming at all.one glass was broken 😕

The views from our balcony was spectular.

Breakage fee was R3000. This was not communicated anywhere only upon arrival. Also, the accommodation costs was deducted from my account long before check-in without any proper communication. On booking.com it indicated no deposit required, hence few days after booking was made the total fee for accommodation went off my account. We plan and budget for these things ahead of time, so it would be great if these transactions are communicated clearly and promptly.
