Gasthof "Zur Kanne"

A very charming establishment, ideally located en route from Vienna to Salzburg. A nice breakfast, which I was not even sure was included in the price. Excellent wifi, comfortable bed. The key-collection process, from a lock-box on days the hotel is otherwise closed, worked very well. Good, free parking.

Unfortunately, I chose to visit on a Monday which (along with Tuesday) is a day when the restaurant is closed - something that maybe should be made clear before booking (and not left till the confirmation, by which time it is too late to cancel!). I found a small pizza place close by but not what I was hoping for when I reserved. Arriving at 8 p.m with the place in total darkness was not exactly welcoming and I would like to suggest that some illumination or exterior lighting be left on - at least on days when guests are expected. The water pressure in the shower was a bit on the weak side.

Super friendly, lovely staff, nice room with an amazing walk-in shower. Really good breakfast. Nice property and nice little restaurant.

Noise in the morning. At 7 am. workers started at the near building site.

Everything was perfect. Great location, nice room with comfortable beds. Staff was really nice and kind.
