Gasthof Löwen by Hotel Montafoner Hof

Good location, spacious room and friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast is very good. Sauna and pool area is also good. Free large parking onsite. Available ski storage room and free on-demand mini bus service to- and from nearby ski lifts. There is a good bar with fireplace. Recommended!

Nice hotel with good restaurant and excellent breakfast.

Breakfast was great, it's a beautiful place with a very nice pool and sauna area! Also the view from the breakfast area is superb. Freshly made omelette's and eggs for breakfast and much more!

The location convenient because from there you can go to all the ski resorts in the closer proximity using either a shuttle or the public bus service quite easily. Breakfast and wellness area with sauna, steam bath and pool (to be accessed in the hotel across the road) are all very good. In fact, the choices offered for breakfast do not leave any wishes.

The rooms are a bit out of date and the mattresses already a bit saggy. The floor is creaky and noise isolation not so good. In order to darken the rooms at night you would have to close all outside shutters, as the curtains let too much light through. Wellness & breakfast has to be accessed in the Montafoner Hof, which is the hotel a short walk across the room, so don’t expect to turn up in. Pyjamas or bathrobe. The food in the restaurant at the Löwen was ok but not more that that (we ordered a salad with cheese in bacon for quite a high price, and the salad leaves were soaked in vinegar, while the baked cheese was only lukewarm).
