B&B Villa Raineri

We loved our stay at Villa Rainier! Maria the owner and Melissa the staff assistant could not have been more hospitable or helpful. A private place to park and lovely garden. Breakfast was excellent and generous. The rooms were spacious, spotless and the balconies were a great place to watch the world go by. Bus stop right in front to catch a ride into Taromina as well as a friendly small fruit and grocery store for making our own fresh bread, cheese and wine evening snacks. If you want to avoid the crush of people in Taromina, this is the place to be.

We loved everything!

Spacious clean comfortable room with a balcony and sea view. Comfy pillows. We had a large, recently fitted bathroom. Breakfast was superb, varied from day to day, but a fantastic spread of fresh fruit, bakery items, cheese, cold meat, yogurts, juice, etc. Served in a breakfast room overlooking a peaceful, nicely planted courtyard. We could use the kettle to make our own drinks at other times. The owner Maria was very friendly and helpful, including being very kind when I was ill from food poisoning after eating out, going over and above what we would have expected in calling a doctor for me. She also speaks very good English which was so useful in the circumstances! Walking distance from Taormina - Giardini station, although there isn't a pavement all the way.

Hard to fault anything, but there's a busy road between the room and the sea, which we knew when booking. So it's noisy with the windows open, but there are two layers of double glazing, shutters, and thick curtains, so barely any noise at night.

There are no words to truly describe our stay at Villa Rainieri. Maria and her staff are in a class of their own—so kind, smiling, and helpful. The breakfasts were fit for royalty—everything fresh and delicious. The bed was very comfortable, the cleanliness exceptional, and the view from the window simply breathtaking. The location of the B&B allowed us to take many walks, visit restaurants, and even make a trip to Taormina thanks to the bus stop right outside the house. The rooftop terrace and the beautiful garden were truly delightful gems. We hope to return someday. Thank you for a wonderful time!

We spent one night up at Taormina town on the hill, and one night in Giardini, mainly so we could catch a train easily. We wish we had spent both nights at this place, and simply take the bus up to visit Taormina. There is nothing bad to say about this B&B, it is excellent in every way. Maria was great with communication the entire way through, and met us personally when we checked in, and was there throughout. The room itself was very large, comfortable, clean, and had a wonderful balcony looking over the sea. It's simply couldn't be better. The breakfast was really good, the usual assortment of breads and cakes, yogurts, cereals, fruit, but then Maria also made little omelets and grilled zucchini on bread. She also lent us beach towels for a swim right in front of the hotel. So far, this was our favorite place of our 30-day trip.

There was nothing we didn't like.

perfect place to stay wnen visiting Taormina. the bus across street goes to Taormina in 15 minutes. was a 10 minute walk from train or take bus 1 stop from train to property. the room faced the sea with beautiful terrace, also the property has rooftop common area. the breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. Maria the manager was so kind and helpful. nice restaurants very closeby. the room was so quiet, nice a.c., very enjoyable. we highly recomend! :)

Location, cleanliness, the sea view, breakfast and hosts were perfect and amazing! Very spacious room and bathroom. I highly recommend this B&B.

We loved the house, we had a room facing the sea, great sunlight of October, could take a swim or have a coffe in front of the house, at the beach. Breakfast served in the courtyard, generous, best feature is conversation with the owner, Maria.
