Gostei do acolhimento dos funcionários, nossa todos, gente boa O que limpa a piscina é um amor de pessoa estão de parabéns 👏👏👏

Não gostei das estradas, no dia que fomos tinha muita lama e demoramos muito pra chegar.

A pousasa é bem localizada, bem próxima à Vila. Menos de 10 minutos andando. Entretanto, para "arrastar" a mala de rodinhas é um pouco ruim, porque o chão é de areia e é muito desgastante. Lá oferecem serviço para carregar mala, porém como o custo da viagem em si não é tão baixo, optei por fazer esse esforço. Quem puder leve tudo em um mochilão, é bem mais prático nessa hora! Fomos em baixa temporada e os poucos funcionários que vimos nos trataram bem, não há o que reclamar nesse sentido. Optamos por não pegar o café da manhã na pousada, pois queríamos explorar a Vila, por isso não tenho como opinar sobre.

Em Barra Grande, há diversos passeios para serem feitos, lanchas, quadricículos, etc, e senti um pouco de falta de apoio ou parcerias da pousada para indicações (não é obrigação, mas facilitaria muito a vida do turista). Quanto à limpeza do quarto, deixou um pouco a desejar, deu para perceber que não era varrido diariamento, apenas trocavam as toalhas e recolhiam o lixo do banheiro. Também não houve troca de roupa de cama, o que poderia ser feito, já que nosso pacote incluía 4 diárias.

The room was spaces and comfortable. Well located close to the beach and the center of the town. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The facility was well organised with a strong coffee in the morning to start the day.

On the positive side, breakfast was excellent—Lucia and Gigi prepared a great variety daily, including eggs and other options. The location is convenient, about a 10-minute walk from the main street of Barra Grande village. The pool area is lovely, though there’s no bar (you can bring your own drinks).

We had a comfortable stay at Pousada El Capitain, but there were some drawbacks. The beds were okay, though the very thin sheet, lack of a spread, and no spare pillows made it less cosy. The rooms are very dark and very close together, and we could hear everything from our neighbours—especially those next door. Definitely not ideal for anyone looking for privacy or a romantic getaway! Another downside was the limited access to drinking water: we were not provided bottles water and there was no way to get more during the night, not even filtered water. We also encountered maintenance issues—a blocked toilet, a blocked shower, and a leaking bathroom roof—but we were moved to another room, which helped.

We loved the attention from Ribeiro! He was great helping out with tips of where to go, where to eat. Always ready to help.

Room for 3 could be a bit bigger. And water pressure was not so good at first, but it was fixed.
