Séjour incroyable au sein de la Pousada colibri. Havre de paix, au milieu de la forêt, entre les oiseaux, les chiens et les singes. Un vrai coin de paradis avec une vue incroyable et un calme paisible. Emplacement idéal, proche du centre mais assez excentré pour des nuits calmes et paisibles. Mention spéciale pour l’activité promenade en cheval avec Ale. Moment hors du temps et expérience incroyable.

Café da manhã muito bem feito e gostoso. Funcionarios muito gentis e atenciosos. Ducha quente e forte.

Muita escadaria até chegar a pousada, que fica em um ponto bem alto da ilha.

Incrível! Lugar aconchegante, café da manhã espetacular, piscina com temperatura agradável! Vale muito a pena subir as escadas pra chegar na pousada! Vista linda! Anfitriã de boa comunicação, fez indicações de lugares e praias especiais! Recomendo

Throughout the whole process José and Tanya were friendly and helpful. They helped arrange transport to the island and Alvino to help with our luggage to the accommodation even accommodating our ever changing plans. When we arrived we were greeted by a cool glass of water and then a caipirinha! The hotel is up a lot of stairs and you need to have some level of fitness. However, it was absolutely worth it. The views of the island were stunning. I absolutely loved being 10 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of the centre but still having my oasis of calm. The rooms were clean and comfortable and each had a hammock to enjoy. The whole place felt super safe. Breakfast each morning was shared with local wildlife - we watched the hummingbirds and marmosets. Each morning there was fresh fruit, a juice, and coffee and eggs. Then a sweet and savory delights that changed each day. They staff were always friendly and helped cater to dietary requirements. Whilst there José helped arrange a boat tour and a place to watch the sunset. They advised on places to walk and places to eat. I can not express enough how happy this place made me feel. For me it felt like paradise.

We found everything to be just perfect. The place is lovely, the staff is super accommodating, the breakfast is fantastic and we were very comfortable. I have no complaints.

Tips for future guests: No cars are allowed on the island and there are no paved roads, so the only way to get around there is on foot. If you’re travelling with a lot of luggage, wheelbarrows are offered at the pier to help visitors with their luggage. Just be sure to set the price before you hand your bags off to anyone. Pousada Colibri is located at the top of the hill, so you'll have to walk and climb A LOT! If you have mobility issues, this is not the place for you.

everything about this place was perfect- I could not have asked for more. the location is on a high hill with incredible views. the beautiful family that owns it is so welcoming and warm, and they clearly take pride in this wonderful family business that has been there for 40 years. I stayed in the chalet which is a beautiful Brazilian style home on the hill with beautiful balconies and a sea breeze. you can see nature and town and it is peaceful and private but the owners are nearby if you need anything. I had such an amazing rest here and loved going out for the day and equally loved coming home! you must climb a good bit of stairs to get to the property but it is a lovely and meditative little walk that I genuinely looked forward too! the pool is astonishingly gorgeous as well- overlooking the mountains and sea. I cannot wait to return thank you Tanya and Jose!!!
