Bayside Inn

The breakfast was excellent, and tasty. Jam was home made in house! Unheard of for most places that I stay. Very friendly and hospitable. I honestly wished I had more time to stay longer. Great place to stay, and excellent value.

Clean rooms with fresh, crisp linen and brand-new mattresses, a delicious breakfast with made-to-order omelets, and the amazing vibe of a century-old inn.

Breakfast was excellent, and the staff was super kind and helpful. Room was lovely with a fireplace.

The best features were: breakfast including eggs made to order in pleasant dining room, comfortable bed and bedding, spacious room. Bayside is close to the waterfront and a perfect launching spot for hiking, island cruising, finding dinner in a quaint town. The 20 year+ host/owner is a local who knows the area well. It's a perfect place for a getaway in a beautiful setting.

We had no complaints. Some previous reviewers were bothered by the nighttime freight train, but to us, even with an open window, it was just an occasional sound which could be mistaken for an air handler such as for heat.

The staff, facilities, cleanliness, comfort, value for money are all excellent! Compared to other offerings in the city limits, this is the only one that I could see offering a hot breakfast of eggs and toast. In a perfect world I would love to see a side of protein as well, but it is still better than the competition. See you next year!
