GBGreat place to stay in Nideggen. Lovely modern hotel on the very edge of the old walled village making it a 2 minute walk to the centre. The hotel owner was the perfect host and we will try and stay longer next time.

I booked (and paid for) and room with breakfast. When I arrived I was told that they are unable to provide me with breakfast but have arranged breakfast at a local bakery. In the morning I went to the local bakery (in a different part of the Village), only to be told that they are unable to provide breakfast and that the hotel was told this and they often do it to customers. I was offered a small, stale salad roll from the display (which had been stood a long time) and a cup of coffee - I rejected this as I do not like either and also out of principle. WARNING - You are paying over 20 Euro for a small stale roll and a cup of coffee PER PERSON! In addition to this, the term ‘On site parking’ is stretched to the limit - There was space for three cars which was full and the cars had snow on them where they had not been moved for some time.
