The location with the Castle, the Church all surrounded by the snow and the houses decorated with Christmas lights had a particular charm. In winter time on Saturday afternoon the Village is almost dead, but the owner is so kind to cook for you a snitzlel with fries with a very good local beer.

Excellent value for money with a large, comfortable room and friendly host. The location is right along a major hiking trail. Breakfast is small but good; if you're missing something, just ask and they will try to accomodate you. Especially the price can't be beat, though.

The furniture is worn.

The B&B is in a tiny town just beneath the castle walls. However, it is also not so far from the highway which makes it a great place for a stop-by. The surroundings are super tranquil and atmospheric. Rooms are cozy and comfortable. The host is friendly but also makes you feel relaxed (and you're still in Germany ;-). Breakfast prepared by the Landlady is ample, typical local. There is also a local craft beer to purchase. And all these for a moderate price. Would also make a great place for a longer family stay and explore around.

Be careful when getting there. google maps misleads you to the other end of the street. Also, something to have tea/coffee in the room would be a nice addition. Even so, no real shortcomings to mention here.
