GBClean neat room, with good tv. Fantastic breakfast included, and good quality pub food in the evening. Quiet rooms in annex on ground floor. Excellent value.
Language in the pub may get a bit ripe for some!

GBExtension to main building. Small room but served my purposes. Lights, shower, TV and sockets worked. Bed very comfortable. Communal area outside for guests. Attractive surroundings. Area quiet. Although 11 miles from Buxton easy access to the town by a variety of attractive routes. Breakfast in the Bar - standard choice but all cooked to order. Porridge recommended!! Plenty of milk on hand for cereal & tea.
Room insulation poor - adjoining room & to kitchens tended to be 'noisy' with chatter from the kitchen or the guests in the adjoining room. Guests yet to appreciate how to shut doors & speak quietly & respect other guests. All noise seemed to cease by 23:30. It is a minor criticism & more related to other guests but I do wish people would respect others need for quietness.
AUGBLovely surroundings and quiet location. Cozy but comfortable good facilities 😊 Breakfast was absolutely lovely and the staff even got up early to cook for us before our hike. Above and beyond. Lovely

GBLovely pub,plenty of character.bnb room was comfortable and clean. Lovely views over the countryside. Hosts were friendly and welcoming.we had an evening meal and breakfast and both were tasty ,good home cooked food.
