The Globe Inn Alvington

Staff are really friendly and incredibly helpful. The restaurant has a lovely selection of food.

Good food and location. Good breakfasts nearby.

Room access a little awkward. Couldn't get TV to switch on. No breakfast.

Very friendly and welcoming staff. The dinner we had was also delicious and just the thing after driving all day in the rain.

Stairs to rooms are very shabby and need a total makeover. Main access to the rooms has no security - door wide open. Needs a self closer. Bed mattress far too soft , or shot!

Bar staff were friendly

Next to no parking for guests if the pub is busy with food/beverage customers. Bedding dirty, bathroom dirty, no WiFi code or info in room, TV remote worked intermittently, room next door had guests smoking inside sending smell down corridor and into room.

The Globe is a lovely inn full of character, had an excellent meal in the comfortable cosy dining area and a drink in the lovely spacious beer garden. All the staff were most helpful and cheerful.
