Third stay here. Good location for visiting family. Parking on site. Lovely clean rooms. Friendly staff who cannot fo enough for you. Quite rooms considering it is s Public House

Lovely little pub. Nice, clean and tidy rooms. Staff were great, and very well liked by locals - which says it all. Beautiful are, and pub is situated in the heart of it.

Fan in the room would have made if perfect, other then that, spot on.

There was no breakfast available which was an unusual situation when your staying at overnight in a Pub, the stay would have been complete if this was available.

The Pub atmosphere was superb especially on a world cup evening and England playing, I liked everything about the Pub, owner Steve had a chat with us and he was very professional.

Check-in was very easy , room was large, comfortable and clean. Part of a busy pub but there was no noise in the room. Although there was no food available, we knew this when we booked and there are options in the town.

What a brilliant find! Gorgeous flowers outside and ultra clean inside. Large double bedroom with comfortable bed and lovely feather pillows. The room was quiet with curtains that made sure it was dark for sleeping. The staff were friendly and welcoming.

The Royal Oak is a fantastic local pub offering excellent value for money accommodation. The whole establishment is built around the local community and we met lots of them in the bar. It’s a real testament to the owners of how well both those passing through for a couple of nights and the locals highly appreciate the pub. Can’t wait to be in the area again to stop here
