Excellent chef.

Shower a bit grimy due to lack of ventilation.

Very friendly staff, food was excellent value, very warm and cozy room

Lights kept going off and on, t.v was unable to watch as kept changing channels

The location could not be better. We stayed 5 nights, using the pub as hub for visiting the Cotswold sights. Breakfast was excellent and we used the excellent restaurant on several nights. We loved the atmosphere in the pub after a day of touring the sights. The priest hole in the restaurant was most interesting.

The pub is a very old historic building and the room was small but it did the job.

Location was fabulous Rooms were clean Beds were comfortable

Shower was aweful Water pressure was not strong at all and came out like a mist rather than proper shower and temperature was so unpredictable, it froze then scalded for 30 seconds with random 5 seconds of perfect temps No additional bare necessities were provided like no lotion, no shampoo, no conditioner, no shower cap, no hair dryer was provided

The meals were superb, as were the staff. Excellent location.

Street parking only (which was never a problem). Our ‘small room’ was just that — but comfortable and well appointed.

The Atmosphere…from the moment we stepped through the front door we went back in time…the smell of aged wood as you waked through the pub and the very, very small doorways…the bathroom/shower was modernized for comfort and very much appreciated…the view from our windows (room5) was priceless.
