Room at the Inn

To be fair - we didn't actually stay here in the end. We saw the room and were disappointed, it smelt strongly of cigarette smoke and was not particularly clean The extractor fan in the bathroom was faulty and screached loudly, staff kindly agreed that we could cancel our booking and get a refund

Ubytování přímo v centru na hlavní ulici, kousek od moře. Zastávka autobusu je hned před ubytováním. Pokoj byl hezky zařízen, postel byla pohodlná a všude bylo čisto. Z hospody dole je slyšet hluk, ale s tím jsme počítali a špunty do uší to vyřešily.

Room at the Inn was clean, comfortable and a very convenient location.

It seems petty but just wanted to say that because it's a very old building the floor boards are very creaky. Definitely no chance of a lay in. Probably not a problem for most people.

The location was superb.

The entrance to the rooms was a narrow staircase between the pub and the restaurant. The moment you entered it, it smelled heavily of urine. The room we booked was apparently directly above the pub. It was not as nice as the pictures made it out to be and you could literally hear every conversation below you. I sat in the bed and it squeaked. I’m afraid that was the last straw for me. We left and could lodgings elsewhere.

The room was very nice. The pub below was really great. Full of regulars. Food was nice. The room had a table and chairs by the window. There was a clean and modern ensuite shower room with a toilet. There were also tea and coffee making facilities.

There are a number of steps up to the bedroom and the staircase is an old, fairly narrow wooden one because the building is very old. So people with mobility issues could struggle. Also, as specified in the description, this is a fabulous local pub and is usually busy. So expect noise from the pub below until quite late and even after midnight. Take earplugs!

The bedding was fantastic and the room was clean. The location was within walking distance of all of the attractions.

It was incredibly noisy. From pub staff coming and going outside the door into the evening to the street cleaner outside at 6:30am. It was as if they were in the room with us it was so loud. Not a good nights sleep.

Convenient location.

Parking was expensive.

Meals were not provided. The website has stated evening meals but this had been changed by arrival

Someone tried to access my room in the early hours of Sunday morning. No one to report to when I checked out

Historic room

Very very loud music below with bad acoustics. Very bad night sleep. I would definitely avoid at the weekend

Able to leave our luggage there during the day which was very helpful
