"Fancy Fowey"

The location of The Galleon Inn was excellent: being in the centre of town, on Fore Street. It was near lots of nice restaurants, bars, cafes and shops. It is about a 7 minutes walk down from the bus stop and about 10 minutes from either of the ferries. It is also convenient for the beautiful coastal paths. Staff there were very friendly and efficient. They allowed us to store our bags before check-in. Check-in itself was smooth. Breakfast was also very tasty. Highly recommend the full English. Our room was of a good size with air con. There was also a kettle with tea bags and coffee which was very much appreciated. It was very clean.

Nothing, really. The water pressure for the shower could be stronger. There are lots of stairs to get to your room. This didn't bother us at all. But if you have mobility problems this is something you'll need to bear in mind.
