Location . Friendly staff. Great room. Familiarity - 3rd visit. Easy access to bus travel and local convenience store. Clean in all areas, but getting tired due to age of facilities and rooms.

Communication failure over pub closure on Monday/Yue. No room service or top up process explained for those days. Fire/health and safety issue with bicycles stored in the access corridor at the bottom of the stairs. No suitable option for breakfast on 2 of 6 days stay due to closure. Going to a nearby B&B for Breakfast not an alternative option in my opinion. Lack of food available on Sunday evening. Quality of food and choice overall has deteriorated since my last stay.

No smart tv really needed in this day and age Whoever I was messaging with on this app said they would send me the ferry discount but didn’t bother so that was very disappointing. Building work going on in the room opposite at around 8 am not relaxing at all. Sounded like an angle grinder.

Closed for 2 days, room not cleaned first night, only one key provided, rather cramped room

Charming old building that was updated to a very comfortable standard. Excellent bathroom and shower; great breakfast. Staff quickly resolved a problem with bedding. Beautiful night sky in solitude far from light pollution.

The Staff were lovely and helpful. A great English pub .

As the room wasn’t massive, we could have done with more hooks in the room to help space.
