Very nice place to stay in a lovely friendly village. Great food lovely staff and dog friendly. Highly recommend for a perfect break.

It was so noisy with drunk people until gone 12 and I couldn’t sleep and had to be up early the next day. People smoking outside caused smoke smell to come in my window. Facilities were not £90.00 a night. Poor bathroom and little space.

Excellent in every way. We were there Valentine weekend.

Valentines menu only. Would like to try food from the normal menu which we hope to real soon. Breakfast was excellent too

Good comfortable option for visiting family and local attractions. Bar staff kindly arranged meals for us toward end of their kitchen shift after a little persuasion.

Great atmosphere in pub and very good food. Continental breakfast included but a paid cooked breakfast option is available

Unfortunately the satellite tv wasn’t working and the weather was awful so we were a bit stuck for entertainment unless we wanted to head for the bar

The continental breakfast was excellent, just what was needed. We had a problem with the radiator in the room that we were first allocated, it was barely lukewarm and the room was cold. After reporting this to the staff, we were given another room which was fine. The evening meal was very good.

If we'd walked into a warm bedroom I would have given a higher mark.

Location Comfortable bed

It was cold. The pub has a real fire, and on a winter evening you would expect this to be light. The room was also cold & the bathroom was in need of some maintenance & repair.

The staff was so helpful and the location was perfect

We stayed in room 14 but the shower kept blocking we would have to wait for the water to drain away and this took forever, also we noticed the same for the sink
