For my liking it is on remote . Have to travel in very narrow lanes. On day we booked there was no dinner so had to go out in the evening and come back in dark in those very narrow lanes. I don’t think we would’ve found the accommodation without google map
GBGBGBGBBed and pillows were very comfortable and I slept really well. Staff were excellent, could not speak highly enough of them. Food was very nice, good selection of ales with a guest ale on tap, which was really nice too. I was allowed to take my dog in the bar and I was given a dog treat by staff which was a lovely touch. The location was lovely and quiet. I have already recommended this pub to friends.
Certainly not a lot to dislike really. The only thing I could say is it would have been nice to have an option of a full English breakfast or even a bacon or sausage sandwich, although the breakfast was perfectly adequate and there is plenty to chose from. Crusty bread at breakfast would be ideal also. Its a minor niggle but that's the only thing I could come up with when pressed for something and its all relevant to cost obviously. What you get for the price you pay cant be grumbled at.
GBThe whole layout was very satisfying and welcoming Front room with the wood burner a lovely touch and our Dashound we could let out as the property was secure and no fear or her getting out.
GBRoom was lovely, beds were comfortable and it was nice and quiet, the staff member we spoke to was brilliant and very freindly, even gave us more tea bags upon request
the kitchen had an issue so there was no food and due to them being closed on the monday was no option for breakfast, also if you are on the larger size the shower may be a little bit small
