The Brisley Bell

The location is a lovely quiet rural gastro pub with accommodation in a separate building in the grounds. The rooms were tastefully decorated and of good size. Friendly staff and we will likely book again next time we go to visit the Thursford Christmas spectacular which is a 25 minute drive away.

Limited staff so the people serving in the bar or dining area of the pub also have to act as reception. To check out we had to go and find the girl who served us breakfast.

The dog friendly room was very spacious, fantastic shower, incredibly comfortable spacious bed,,& all the staff were friendly & & extremely helpful, the breakfast was superb, evening meal brilliant, we would 100% recommend the Brisley Bell

Our stay at The Brisley Bell was an absolute pleasure, the Inn, staff, restaurant, food and accommodation were all first class. We would stay here again without hesitation. The warm fires and Christmas decorations made the atmosphere even better - particularly as storm Darragh was raging outside!

There isn't anything negative to say about our stay.

Staying in Hunny - no wardrobe, iron, fridge, water for kettle and bathrobes (considering bathtub in room). Low pressure in taps on sink, dribbled out. Courtyard was not private as described. Power cut overnight led to bright security lights coming on at 7AM.

The huge beds with quality linen. The attention to detail in the room,especially for our dog. The restaurant food was delicious and slightly different to normal menus. Well done chefs.

Drinks were a little steep
